I constructed this look at Central Saint Martins during the summer of 2024. I was heavily inspired by the rigid shaping of the 18th century, and wanted to explore the juxtaposition of the body vs the rigidity of the garment. I wanted to incorporate aspects of weaving and textile manipulation, which is particularly evident in the cape.
