about me

Hi there! My name is Cooper Critchley, and I study costume design! My love for costume design started when I was 8 years old, when my brother was performing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. My mom snuck me into the costume shop, where the rows of shimmering Rockette costumes ignited a spark in me—though I couldn't have known then how that moment would shape my future.

Now, as a costume design student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I'm living that childhood dream. Costume design perfectly weaves together my three greatest loves: theatre's storytelling power, fashion's creative expression, and history's rich tapestry. Whether I'm sketching initial concepts or constructing the final pieces, each stage of the design process feeds my creative spirit.

I invite you to explore my portfolio and witness how these passions come to life through my work. Each project represents another step in my journey from that wide-eyed child in the costume shop to the designer I'm becoming today.
